Keep Calm and Carry On

'Keep Calm and Carry On' - the original poster was issued as a means of allaying public fear by the British Government during World War II. The poster was held in reserve for use only if Germany invaded Britain. As this didn't happen the poster was never officially released to the public.

It is thought that most of the posters were destroyed in 1945, at the end of the war.  Nearly 60 years later a bookseller discovered a copy of an original Keep Calm and Carry On poster hidden with a pile of books purchased at an auction.

Our range of Keep Calm and Carry On products included hand pulled prints in a range of colours, tea towels, aprons, brooches, magnets and necklaces.  The Keep Calm and Carry On motto is appreciated and adored today - it's intriguing history and relevance to our modern lives make it a fabulous gift or addition to your home.
